Hey there! My name is Karina!

As a kid, I was intrigued by the inner workings of how a camera operated. I even did my grade 3 science fair project on how camera's worked! Growing up I'd create short films with friends (if YouTube was around back then, I may have had a different life, ha!) and in high school I used my dad's Sanyo 8mm camcorder to vlog my summers.

At 18 I bought my first DSLR, and it remained a hobby for the next 10 years. Throughout my 20's I loved secretly documenting trips or special occasions and surprising my family and friends after, with these sentimental videos.

Then 2020 happened.

After losing my job due to the pandemic, I found the silver lining of being able to take a chance at something new and creative that I had always had wanted to pursue, but the timing never felt right. In August of 2020, I entered an online course in videography. Things quickly progressed from there, and I haven't looked back!

On the personal side of things, I'm a lover of the outdoors, traveling, random adventures, good coffee, playing ringette and quality time with the people I love. I can usually be found with my dog Harlie and husband, Matt or at your local thrift store!

I know being behind the camera isn't something everyone's comfortable with, but I hope to make it feel as though we're just friends hanging out! The rest will flow naturally, and what doesn't... I can edit out ;)
